Bicoastal

Well, really just back and forth between San Diego and Los Angeles, but all this running around is making me a little disoriented. I'm ready to be settled in my new apartment and to stay put for a while.

Although summers in Encinitas sure are nice.
The image is from my last summer spent entirely at home, a couple years ago, with my two best girl friends.

Erin

Love this photo of Erin that has been on all the blogs recently.

Half the time Erin bothers me, as she definitely knows how cool she is, but I do like this image. I tend to love images of people in their homes--they seem to let you in on a little secret.

Sophomore

Line I wish I could afford: Sophomore.

If you haven't heard of it, go check it out. If you can afford it, go buy the cut out dress.
Oh, and don't forget the image that first drew me to the line about a year ago.

Sha Sha

Apartment hunting is no fun.
But staying at my parents' house eating burritos and going to the beach every day sure is.

Although I must say the beach in Greece was better.

Horehound

I must say, now that I'm back and have a computer and a cell phone, I feel like I need to know what's going on, right now, with everything. I feel left behind because I've been out of the loop for a month, and like I need to catch up and know what's happening. But to be honest, I think I liked not knowing. I wasn't exactly thinking about blogging, or staying on top of what's new while I was abroad. This doesn't mean I wasn't thinking about fashion, art, literature, etc., but it was on very different terms. I wasn't looking to others to find what was in right now, but was simply observing others directly, forming my own opinions without any outside influence. It was quite nice, finding my self without the influence of others.

So while this does not mean I will stop reading fashion blogs or magazines, or discontinue my love for the internet and knowing what's modern, I think I will do so with a larger grain of salt. And I will also continue to look more toward street style and things I stumble across on my own, instead of simply liking what someone else puts up on their blog.

That being said, I bought the Dead Weather album today. Jack White + Alison Mosshart = love.

Bloglovin'

I've been back from my trip for a few days now, but I still haven't read a single bloglovin' post. Or gotten used to having the internet at my disposal. Or really gotten back into the swing of things, so it may take a bit longer for me to get back into the blogging habit.

But for now, I'll leave you with one of my favorite pictures from my trip, from Venice.

I'm Back

Best trip ever.

Now back to the real world: apartment and job hunting.
